I am very dissatisfied with the Hyundai Tucson I purchased for £33,500 for the following reasons:
I picked up on Sat 14th June from Hyundai Oxford, car was clean and only done 350 miles. After driving approx. 25 miles the engine malfunction light came on Sun 15th June. After speaking with the sales team on Sun 15th June, I took the car back to Hyundai Service on Monday 16th June. I collected the car again on Friday 20th June after the purge valve was replaced and car test driven for approx. 60 miles by Hyundai technician. I drove it for approx. 20-25 miles, engine malfunction light came back on. I took it straight back to Hyundai Oxford, technician diagnostics shows same purge valve fault. I was told they will now replace all parts in purge system! As of 21 June the car has now done 484 miles, 135 miles more than when I bought it. I have only done 40-50 of these miles. The other 85 miles have been done by the Oxford Hyundai technician working on the the car. So I have paid £33.5K to buy a Hyundai Tucson just for someone else to rack up miles! it is now Monday 23rd June and I haven't heard any more from Hyundai Oxford and my £33.5K car is still sat with them for repair. I am expecting some serious compensation from Hyundai Oxford, if not a new replacement Tucson of the same specification, age or newer, purchase mileage or less. I am a VERY feed up and dissatisfied customer.

I'd endorse Johnsons Hyundai Oxford because they made the whole experience very easy. Rob explained everything very well and was very courteous.

Annabel Cliff (Johnsons Hyndai, Oxford) who I met on my first visit, understood immediately what I was looking for and went through possible options, helping me to weigh up the benefits of different models. Annabel is an excellent communicator - knowledgeable and empathetic whilst remaining professional. She is also extremely patient and has a very positive manner. I am also very pleased with the 2022 Kona Elite that Johnsons found for me - it ticks all the boxes for ease of use by a very elderly passenger - in particular the electric controls of the seat position - invaluable for getting in and out and, whilst on the road, for the prefect seat position. So, very many thanks to Annabel and colleagues!

My experience at Johnsons Hyundai Oxford was completely different to dealerships I have purchased from in the past. Having had a negative experience elsewhere, I was very impressed with how Annabel dealt with all of my enquiries, leaving no stone unturned. Paul was always happy to help when Annabel wasn’t on site, and they each went above and beyond to ensure the car looked pristine upon collection.
