I would not recommend Johnsons Hyundai Oxford because - when we test drove the vehicle it had only just arrived on site. During the inspection and test drive we noticed marks on the bonnet and a knocking coming from the NSR suspension. We were told that both of these would be rectified and we agreed to collect the car in on week to give time for this a service and MOT. When we arrived at the handover the vehicle still had the marks on the bonnet so we refused collection. We were told the marks needed professional body polishing from their expert and this would be done the following day. We returned 2 days later and the body work was now perfect and a couple of stone chips were also attended to (this was good). We left the dealership and then discovered part way back th suspension knock had not been rectified. We were going to a funeral so could not return immediately so rang the sales team. I was told it had been driven by 3 people and that there was no rattles and was maybe the parcel shelf. I bought the vehicle back the following day to take out technician (service advisor basically dismissing the fact it was their as 3 people ad driven it). It took me 3 mins to demonstrate to the technician who agreed it was a problem with the suspension. The car was then booked in and the NSR shock absorber was diagnosed by the workshop. There was no part in stock and the new part would take 5 days to arrive, we were assured the car was safe so collected it. Vehicle returned to workshop 5 days later and new NSR shock fitted. W picked up the vehicle again and it still has not resolved the problem so vehicle is not back in for repair again. Having expected to collect the car 10 days ago we have ben able to drive it for just 5. If the sales and workshop team had worked together and looked at and tested the car this would not have been the case. The fact that these problems were pointed out is disappointing
